Southern Wesleyan University, a four-year, private, liberal arts college, is a Christ-centered, student-focused learning community. It is dedicated to transforming lives by challenging students to be dedicated scholars and servant leaders who impact the world for Christ. SWU was originally established in 1906 as the Wesleyan Methodist Bible Institute. Today it is committed to being a Christian community of learners that “…recognizes God as the source of all truth and wisdom.”
SWU offers associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees within the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business, and the School of Education. Degrees in each of these schools are available completely online or in hybrid formats.
