Southeastern University was established in 1935 in Alabama with the purpose of training pastors and missionaries. It relocated to Lakeland in 1946. Today, the coeducational, private, not-for-profit liberal arts university continues to promote Christianity. This is through well-rounded programs, including regularly scheduled chapel services, volunteer service, music programs, clubs and organizations, and intercollegiate and intramural sports. Southeastern University is dedicated to transforming minds and engaging culture through the integration of faith, learning, and service.
Southeastern University offers associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. It has developed an online program to cater to the needs of working Christian adults pursuing bachelor’s and associate’s degrees. Southeastern University online degrees offer the same high-quality learning experience that is found on campus in traditional degrees but with greater flexibility.
