University of the Potomac was founded in 1991 with a mission to, “provide educational opportunities primarily at the undergraduate level leading to career enhancement for its multicultural adult learners by offering affordable and accessible education in career-oriented disciplines.” Potomac offers courses that are tailored to a working population who seek the education necessary to reach the next career level. Students can earn an associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral degrees, and certificates through a variety of programs.
Since University of the Potomac specializes in furthering the education of adult learners, all of its degree programs are available virtually as well as in traditional classrooms. The online degree programs are designed and taught by industry professionals who are dedicated to ensuring that the quality, relevance and discipline of the online programs are the same as the traditional face-to-face programs.
