School Details
Ashley S. Johnson founded the School of the Evangelists in 1893. Later, it was renamed Johnson Bible College. Since 2011, it rests with its present title, Johnson University. Throughout its history, JU has been focused on deep faith, consistent prayer, and hard work. Johnson continues to educate and graduate faithful servants who preach the Gospel not only in words, but in actions.
The university offers more than 70 Christ-centered programs, friendly and engaged faculty and staff, and affordable tuition at its campuses in Tennessee, Florida, and online. Convenient online programs help students develop spiritually, personally, and professionally, no matter their location. The online associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs offered through Johnson University Online are designed to equip learners for Christian ministries and other strategic vocations to extend the kingdom of God.
