Tony’s Take

Georgia College & State University is strongest in day-to-day academics. Classes are small, often around 20 to 25 students. Professors are present and easy to reach. Students get help in class and during office hours.

Teaching is practical and challenging. The work is meaningful, not busywork. In education programs, training follows a clear path. Students start with observation, move into several placements, and then take full classroom responsibility.

Assignments connect to real teaching work. Support is clear through faculty and tutoring. The biggest challenge is graduate workload. Balancing projects with work and family takes planning. Overall, this school is a strong fit for self-directed learners.
