School Details
The second-largest university in the state of Georgia, Kennesaw State University offers more than 150 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees through 11 colleges on two campuses in the metro Atlanta area. The institution is a Carnegie-designated doctoral research institution, placing it among an elite group of only 6% of US colleges and universities with an R1 or R2 status.
KSU’s mission includes helping students succeed through exploration, collaboration, and rigor. The school seeks to unite a diverse spectrum of student backgrounds and talents.
Distance learning students are able to complete fully online minors, certificates, and education endorsements, as well as bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. Kennesaw’s commitment to online education is shown through its comprehensive staff training on the use of information and communication technologies. All the same support services offered to on-campus students are provided to online students, including academic advising, financial aid counseling, and counseling/psychological services.
