About Graceland University
Graceland University, founded over 125 years ago in 1895, is sponsored by the Community of Christ. In 1917, Graceland became the first fully accredited junior college in Iowa, and then in 1960 became a four-year college. Graceland College became Graceland University on June 1, 2000. Today, the university leads the way with its renowned nursing program as well as its reputation for education, business, and seminary degrees.
Built on “unconditional love and acceptance,” this school and its faculty care about student success, ensuring graduates go on to live meaningful and productive lives. Grounded in the liberal arts, Graceland offers online learning in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in the nursing, education, religion, and business fields.
