Walsh University, located on a 136-acre campus in North Canton, Ohio, is a private, 4-year Roman Catholic university. Walsh University was initially founded as a liberal arts college in 1960 by the Brothers of Christian Instruction, and in 1993 it became Walsh University. In addition to the main campus, Walsh also has satellite campus locations in Canfield, Medina and Springfield Township, Ohio, and in Castel Gandalfo, a town located outside of Rome, Italy.
