School Details
Founded in 1873, Shorter University began as the Cherokee Baptist Female College. At Shorter, the mission is “to advance God’s Kingdom through a commitment to academic excellence, spiritual growth, Christian leadership, and global service within the context of a biblical worldview.”
Through its campus in Rome, Georgia, as well as a remote campuses across Atlanta, the university offers traditional bachelor’s degrees in 40+ areas of study, undergraduate degree programs for working adults, and master’s degree programs. Online courses and degree programs are also available.
