Delta State University is a four-year, Regional Carnegie Master’s I university providing an educational and cultural center for the Mississippi Delta area. Students are offered advanced training in a wide variety of traditional and unique disciplines from bachelor’s to doctorate programs. DSU began as a teacher’s college, and sustains its devotion to excellence in teaching, service, research, and community building.
Online bachelor’s and master’s degrees are available to the nontraditional student at Delta State. Programs of study include avenues of healthcare, education, social justice, and more. Distance learning at DSU means that 50% or more of the course work is available online, while some programs are simply web-enhanced.
