Program Details

This online AA in History studies the relationships between cultures and societies. Furthermore, at Vol State Community College, you’ll gain an understanding of the present based upon the past.  This program is intended for students who plan to transfer to a 4-year institution and major in history or plan to teach history.  Therefore, there are no course substitutions allowed within the program, so that you’ll be prepared to transfer.  Classes include:

  • Early US History
  • Modern US History
  • Modern World History
