UNG’s MA in Teaching / Middle Grades Education offers initial teaching licensure for those with bachelor’s degrees. This secondary education master’s degree program requires two concentrations. Choices include:

  • Social science
  • Science
  • Mathematics
  • Language arts

By focusing on curriculum and pedagogy, the online secondary education program advances the knowledge and skills of those wanting to teach in middle school. All students participate in a capstone project, an internship, and educational research.
