Program Details

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln offers an online Bachelor of Science in Applied Science degree completion program. The curriculum allows students to choose one of several areas of emphasis based on their personal interests and professional goals:

  • Food, Animal & Plant Science
  • Genetics, Biotechnology & Processing
  • Ecology
  • Entrepreneurship, Economics & Policy


This is a bachelor completion program. A total of 120 credits are required, including transfer credits.

  • Must have completed a minimum of 32 semester hours of college credit from an accredited four-year or two-year college, including:
    • 5 credit hours of math above college algebra
    • 2 semesters of general chemistry
    • 1 semester of biology with laboratory
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 (on a 4.00 scale)
  • Minimum C average in the last semester of college enrollment
