Master of Engineering (Interdisciplinary)
University of Illinois at Chicago

Program Details

The online Master of Engineering program is an interdisciplinary degree that is highly customizable and allows students to take courses that immerse them in the key contexts in which engineers operate.  Students will study the legal and ethical parameters that govern and guide engineering practice and the management principles that allow engineers to run great businesses and organizations.  Students choose courses based on what intrigues them academically and where they see themselves after graduation.  There are two paths available for students to pursue, a general engineering approach or a focused study in one of eight areas within engineering: bioinformatics, chemical engineering, circuits and electronics, communications, computer science and engineering, disaster management, electromagnetics and optics, and mechanical engineering.
