Thomas University, a private, not-for-profit institution, and primarily operates as a commuter campus on 74 acres in Thomasville, a small community in South Georgia. Founded in 1950, Thomas University built the institution on the grounds of the former Birdwood Plantation. For over 65 years, Thomas University has welcomed students from all walks of life and has strived to be responsive to our region’s diverse population while challenging all students to excellence and personal transformation.
