Program Details

The Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree is slightly different from the Master of Engineering degree at Stevens Institute of Technology, in that students must pursue a thesis option. The curriculum is mixed with applied research and technical knowledge, giving students the following program outcomes:

  • Knowledge of mathematics and technology
  • Concentration skill set
  • Applicable, modern experiences

Students seeking electrical engineering careers will be prepared to enter that workforce or to pursue further graduate studies. Students can also choose to specialize further in one of these disciplines:

  • Communications
  • Microelectronics and Photonics
  • Power Engineering
  • Robotics and Automation Systems
  • Artificial Intelligence


  • Accredited bachelor's degree or higher 
  • Official transcripts
  • GRE or GMAT scores
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • TOEFL scores for international students, if applicable
