The curriculum will teach you to:
- Analyze core cognitive processes behind language acquisition and reading comprehension
- Apply assessment tools to evaluate reading ability
- Identify and diagnose reading or writing difficulties
- Design curriculum and learning interventions
This online literacy program can lead to an initial teaching license or can enhance existing credentials. It may meet the requirements for certification as a Reading Specialist or Literacy Coach. Florida teachers are eligible for the Reading Endorsement.
