Program Details

Samford offers the online MS in Health Informatics. This program will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to plan, build, analyze, and run the digital foundations of modern healthcare. The use of informatics in healthcare has increased exponentially, and people with the right training are in high demand. This program combines a rigorous set of health informatics courses with the patient-centered values found in all programs within Samford’s College of Health Sciences.

  • Research Methods for Healthcare

  • Two on-campus visits required, one at the beginning of your study, the other at the end
  • Baccalaureate degree in any field from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale)
  • GRE/GMAT/MAT test scores or three years of work experience in a relevant field
  • Completion of undergraduate statistics with a grade “B” or higher
  • Three letters of reference
  • Online video interview
