Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Crime Analysis program consists of advanced graduate study beyond the baccalaureate level that develops the knowledge, skills, and abilities for entry level positions as crime analysts or enhances the skills of working analysts.  Coursework includes environmental criminology, research methods, statistics, crime analysis, and crime mapping and teaches students about the systematic analysis of data from a wide variety of sources to provide information about the patterns and trends of crimes.  You will learn the knowledge and skills needed to inform tactical and strategic decision making, support investigations, assist in the study of resource needs, and facilitate the development of criminal justice policy.
