The SSBBCERT is earned via an in-depth and rigorous application of all tools of the problem-solving DMAIC process (Design, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control). Upon completion of this program, you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate the application of the Six Sigma methodology to improve a real-world process problem associated with your current work environment.
  • Gather, format, and analyze data, and translate statistical results into practical decisions.
  • Perform two-tailed and single-tailed hypothesis tests.
  • Perform multiple factor ANOVA tests and Multiple Regression analysis techniques.
  • Validate measurement systems for use in process performance measurement.
  • Identify situations for applying Monte Carlo and Discrete Event simulation techniques.
  • Measure process and system capability ratios.
  • Demonstrate before and after capability improvement.
