Program Details
Ohio University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing to Doctor of Nursing Practice (BSN-DNP) program, which began in 2017, is designed for baccalaureate-prepared nurses like you who are already working in the field.
Now, professionals like you—healers beginning their career journeys and looking to expand their possibilities with advanced skills and credentials—can advance with a program that offers both online courses and field experience.
This 70-credit program will allow you to customize your education with specializations in either direct patient care as an advanced practice nurse or indirect patient care as a nurse executive or nurse educator. Courses include not only explorations of health policy, quality and safety in population health, and epidemiology for advanced nursing practice, but also opportunities to help you build the professional presence, business acumen, and leadership skills necessary to advance.
Upon completion, you’ll emerge ready to pursue practitioner, leadership, and educational roles.
