Man-made and natural disasters are impossible to stop completely. However, this program teaches students how to prepare for, withstand, rapidly recover from, and adapt to natural and man-made disasters. You will also learn principles and policies for enhancing a community’s security and resilience. Focus on policy studies and the intellectual frameworks that guide the homeland security field as you also learn the synthetic approach to managing transnational risks.
Enjoy and enhance your knowledge and skills through group assignments and projects along with exercising leadership through team projects.
Credits are transferable to MS Security and Resilience Studies if you choose to take your education to the next level.
