School Details
Newman University was founded in 1933 by the Adorers of the Blood of Christ and was originally named Sacred Heart College. In 1973, due to the continued growth of the institution, the college’s name was changed to Kansas Newman College. In 1998 the name was changed again to Newman University. The university’s mission is “to empower graduates to transform society.”
