If you have a passion for pre-schoolers or want to make a difference in a child’s life, consider an online Associate of Early Childhood Education from NMSU-Grants. This degree takes an extra push to complete in two-years, but will give you a solid foundation of core education credits and an integrated certificate in early childhood which may be used towards licensure in some states. If you are not planning on teaching in New Mexico, you should check with your indiviual state’s licensure or board requirements for early childhood educators. Coursework likely includes:
