About Nash Community College
Nash Community College, a public comprehensive educational institution, was founded in 1967. Nash is a 2-year public institution. The mission is to provide an affordable educational environment to prepare students for college transfer and rewarding careers is achieved through teaching excellence, high quality instruction, technology, and work force development.
Students at Nash can choose from certificates and associate’s degrees to work towards when furthering their education. To help accommodate the different schedules of its students, Nash offers a distance education program with online classes. Many of the general and continuing education courses can be taken online and there is a program that offers students the option to receive an associate’s degree entirely online.
