Mid-Plains Community College is a two-year, public community college that serves eighteen counties in the western-central region of Nebraska. The school was founded in 1973 when three separate institutions merged to form MPCC. MPCC’s mission is “to provide quality educational opportunities for lifelong student learning.” MPCC values integrity, accessibility, affordability, respect, communication, safety, and collaboration among all campuses.

The school offers associate’s degrees, diplomas, certificates, and other occupational programs. Online classes are available at MPCC and students can complete associate’s degrees 100% online.
