Madonna University is a four-year private Catholic university that is located in the small city of Livonia, Michigan, on the western perimeter of Detroit. This school was founded in 1937 by the Felician Sisters on the principals of the Franciscan order of the Catholic faith. Madonna University aims to provide a learning environment where a student will gain intellectual, spiritual, and personal growth to achieve success in the classroom, boardroom, and in all aspects of life. Although the college is strong in its affiliation with the Roman Catholic Church, students of many denominations attend MU.
The school offers certificates, associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, post baccalaureate certificates, master’s degrees, doctor’s degrees for professional practice, and post-master’s certificates. Over undergraduate programs and master’s programs are available within the colleges and departments at Madonna University. Several undergraduate and graduate programs are offered completely online.
