School Details
Lindsey Wilson College is a four-year, private, liberal arts school located in Columbia, Kentucky. LWC is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Lindsey Wilson Training School was founded in 1903 to train future educators. The school was named in memory of Lindsey Wilson, the deceased nephew and stepson of Mrs. Catherine Wilson, who donated money towards the construction of the first building built at LWC.
Lindsey Wilson College offers associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s, and doctorate degrees. Classes are offered during the daytime, evening, and weekend. Lindsey Online is a flexible, accredited, adult education option that makes it easier for students to pursue a degree while balancing work and family obligations. The mission of Lindsey Wilson College is to “serve the educational needs of students by providing a living-learning environment with an atmosphere of active caring and Christian concern where every student, every day, learns and grows and feels like a real human being.”
