Bachelor of Arts / Science in Interdisciplinary Studies
Lewis-Clark State College

Program Details

Lewis-Clark State College offers two nearly identical liberal arts degrees, the Bachelor of Arts or Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.  With these degrees in liberal arts, students are able to major in a unique program that is tailored to their individual goals.  This option allows you to develop a liberal studies major with two broadly defined areas of study that lead to a focused educational objective.  Students find this degree appealing when they cannot find a major that closely meets their interests and career goals as it allows them to develop a customizable and coherent degree plan of their own.  The curriculum must be approved by an advisory committee and feature two areas of concentration, each with closely related courses that can be justified as a single area.
