Lakeland Community College is a two-year public school located in Kirtland, Ohio. It is located about 25 minutes outside Cleveland in wooded countryside. Lakeland was founded in 1967 as the first college in Ohio to be established based on a vote of the people. Off-site campuses are located in Madison, Painesville, and Willowick. It is dedicated to providing “…quality learning opportunities to meet the social and economic needs of the community.”
Lakeland Community College offers over 130 certificates of completion and associate’s degrees in programs such as arts and humanities, business technologies, engineering technologies, science and health technologies, and social science and public service. Courses are offered during the day, evening, and weekend and online. Online courses are available for students who are looking for a more convenient schedule where they can “attend class” any time or place that they like. Lakeland online degrees are taught by expert professors with real-world experience.
