Program Details

Kentucky State University offers an online psychology degree, the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, for those interested in studying the behaviors and experiences of organisms.  This program is dedicated to scientific truth and the promotion of knowledge and critical thinking and reasoning skills to assess, prevent, and resolve individual and social problems.  The well-rounded curriculum includes the study of:

  • Behavior

Courses also examine the psychological, social, physiological, and developmental processes that underlie these areas.  Students will gain an understanding of research design concepts used in psychological literature; the cultural and social contexts of human behavior, and ethical codes of conduct used by professionals in the field.  Graduates are prepared for entry-level careers in the human and social service, medical, law, or management fields or to pursue graduate education in a related discipline.
