Program Details

The online Master of Science in Applied Physics program offers students the opportunity to specialize in either Materials and Condensed Matter or Photonics, although it’s not mandatory to choose a concentration. 

The curriculum of this online science degree includes four core courses, with students able to choose three of the four from a list of options. These courses cover a range of important topics in physics and engineering, such as mathematical methods, electromagnetics, statistical mechanics, classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, and modern physics. Additionally, students have the option to explore principles of optics and materials science.
