Program Details

Working professionals can advance their understanding of maternal and child health with the MHS in Population, Family, and Reproductive Health degree. This part-time, online public health degree incorporates aspects of epidemiology, research, and statistical methods.

Students will learn how to apply a life course framework to understanding population health issues. Using demographic methods, students will analyze causes and consequences of population change. The knowledge they gain from these studies will enable professionals to better promote population health services and strategies to address health concerns related to maternal and child health.

Students will choose to focus on one of three areas:

  • Epidemiology
  • Health Services Research and Evaluation
