Program Details

The Master of Arts in Public Health Biology takes a scientific approach to addressing current public health issues. Students will practice using research methods and tools to improve the health and wellbeing of communities.

This online public health degree is interdisciplinary, with coursework provided by the university’s departments of biochemistry and molecular biology, environmental health and engineering, and molecular microbiology and immunology. Students will study the biological underpinnings of public health, psychological and behavioral factors affecting population health, and essential components of environmental health. Graduates will have an understanding of the critical importance of evidence for advancing public health knowledge.
