The online Master of Science in Nursing in Population Health prepares nurses to address the health needs of vulnerable populations and communities. The Emergency Management concentration examines emergency preparedness, planning, and management from the perspective of the nurse coordinator.

Students have the ability to focus their studies on a specific vulnerable population, such as women and infants, individuals with chronic illness, geriatric clients, clients with ethnic or racial disparities, infectious disease clients, and more. Aspects of Population Health and Emergency Management are integrated into courses throughout the curriculum. The online MSN program includes topics such as community needs assessment, analysis of data, and program development.
