Established in 1917, Hinds Community College is a large community college in Mississippi with several campuses. To accommodate learners who have jobs or who cannot attend on-campus classes due to other responsibilities, HCC offers online associate's degrees and certificates in areas such as business, computers, criminal justice, and healthcare. HCC online has a wide variety of course topics available since they are involved in a consortium of Mississippi schools. All online students participate in a virtual orientation so they can become familiar with the platform.
