Program Details
Gratz College has designed the online Master of Arts in Education in Jewish Instructional Education program. It is meant to integrate clinical knowledge and theory into Jewish studies. The program is intended for those who are interested in working within Jewish schools, Jewish community centers, Jewish summer camps, supplementary schools, and adult Jewish educational institutions.
Students will complete core courses in instruction, learning assessment, and legal and ethical issues in the classroom as well as required courses in the Hebrew language. You will also complete concentration courses that include:
- Fundamentals & Orientations in Jewish Education
- Jewish Education Methods courses
- Jewish Studies and/or Jewish Education courses
- Electives from a variety of programs
