Founded and sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy in 1908, Georgian Court University is located in Lakewood, New Jersey. After a long history as a women’s college with coeducational graduate programs and undergraduate evening programs, Georgian Court became fully coeducational in 2013. Georgian Court University provides comprehensive liberal arts education in the Roman Catholic tradition while maintaining its historic special concern for women. The university offers a curriculum that is broad enough to be truly liberal, yet specialized enough to provide in-depth preparation for careers or further study.
GCU boasts more than 30 undergraduate degrees, 10 graduate degrees, and a variety of certificate programs for existing professionals looking to advance their careers. Georgian Court University offers two programs offered completely online, as well as a number of undergraduate and graduate courses available online.
