Program Details

The Associate of Arts in General Studies, an online liberal arts degree from Geneva College, is designed for adult students.  This program is designed for individuals seeking to advance in the workplace or who want to continue their studies at the bachelor’s degree level.  The liberal arts degree offers rich and relevant content in courses that feature faith integration and rigorous academic requirements in a wide variety of topics.  This comprehensive, liberal arts education shows potential employers that you have the work ethic and acumen necessary to handle complicated learning and a mastery of subjects including English, social science, humanities, math, and Bible. 

Students take a variety of diverse courses which may include:

  • English Composition
  • Introduction to Psychology
  • Child & Adolescent Development
  • Classical & Christian Cultures
  • Western Culture: Renaissance to Modernity
  • Natural Science
  • Old & New Testament Survey


  • Must have a 2.0 cumulative combined GPA for all accredited colleges or high school
  • Preferably you have four to five years of experience after high school
  • Submit college, high school transcripts or GED
  • If you have Military credits, you must request an official Military transcript
