Pro Christo et Patria is the center of your education at Geneva College. As a close-knit academic community, the school’s mission is to prepare you for a professional career in which you will serve God, your country and your neighbor. The school was founded in 1848 and moved thirty years later to its present day location in Pennsylvania. During those tumultuous years of American history, Geneva became one of the first institutions of higher learning to open its doors to freed slaves. It also focused on higher education for women, establishing a female seminary.
Today, Geneva continues its academic tradition of providing adult education to all, as it expands beyond the Beaver Falls campus to an online platform. The school offers bachelor and graduate programs for working adults to fulfill their academic potential and to advance their careers. Classes are kept small with curricula that integrate Christian values and generally move at an accelerated pace to help students acquire their degrees in less time. Geneva offers you:
- Christ-centered studies
- Affordable and attainable degrees
- Flexible learning schedule
- Amenable transfer credit program
- Proud history of adult education
