About the college:
Tracing its roots back to 1911, Fort Lewis College first opened as a secondary school and later evolved into a higher education institution. Located on the ancestral land and territory of the Nuuchiu (Ute) people, the school continues to serve the Four Corners region and is a USDE-designated Native-American serving college.
