CUNY Graduate School and University Center devotes itself to advanced learning, research and scholarship through a multi-campus system. In addition to the Graduate Center, the school provides administration to five other University Center Schools. Distance education opportunities are hosted through the CUNY School of Professional Studies campus. Here students can enroll in an online bachelor completion program, or choose to begin a master’s degree or graduate certificate.
Degree completion offerings include majors in liberal arts, business, healthcare, nursing, psychology and more.
Graduate programs include, but are not limited to, business, technology, nursing and museum studies.
Features of the online learning environment:
- Adult learner focus. The School of Professional Studies focuses on the adult learner, providing flexible learning options. Students are able to study and work full-time.
- Real world practitioners. Faculty are held to the same standard of quality as on-campus counterparts and are able to bring their experiences as practitioners to the classroom.
- Debt free educational goals. Many are able to complete their education debt free through grant funded workforce development and CUNY SPS Foundation scholarships.
- No textbook purchases. Students can save through the school’s Zero Textbook Cost initiative which takes advantage of Open Education Resources and does not require the purchase of traditional textbooks.
