Begin a career teaching the youngest students with this online early childhood education degree. This program is designed for those interested in teaching PreK through grade 3 or ages 3 to 8. The curriculum is built on the premise that early childhood development is a “process of accommodation between the child, the teacher, and the child’s environment.” It was influenced by the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s (NAEYC) beliefs.
Combining theory with observation and participation in clinical, community, and school practicum settings, this online early childhood education degree teaches students to translate content and academic knowledge into practice.
