Program Details

The online Master of Science in Health Professions Education is designed for students who are interested in expanding their teaching skills in a health professions field. Students will learn to design curriculum, prepare and deliver evaluations, provide mentorship, and apply educational research to lessons. The program allows students to tailor their learning to meet their own career needs.

Courses include, but are not limited to:

  • Scientific writing
  • Classroom discourse
  • Analysis and design of curriculum

Students have the option of completing the master’s degree program full-time in one year, or in two to three years as a part-time student. Students choose from a teaching-based, curriculum-based, or evaluation-based practicum. The online master’s degree in health professions education allows graduates to emerge as leaders in education.
