GetEducated Team Takes
Tony’s Take

The University of Maryland, Baltimore is a strong option for health careers. It focuses on hands-on training for real clinical work. Classes move quickly and the workload is heavy. Many students still find the courses useful and engaging.

Teaching can differ by course, but many professors are skilled and supportive. Smaller classes can make it easier to ask questions, get help, and stay involved. Some school processes can feel uneven. Requirements may not always feel clear, advising may feel limited, and registration can be stressful.

Students who do best here are organized and self-directed. If you can manage a fast pace and steady demands, UMB offers solid preparation and a clear path into health professions.
