School Details

On May 7, 2015, the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, founded in 1974, officially adopted its new name, William James College. William James is an independent graduate college of psychology that educates culturally sensitive professionals to improve the mental health of individuals and organizations. Emphasizing experiential education, the school attracts developing professionals eager to become leaders and advance mental health care. Its namesake, William James (1842-1910), the founder of American psychology, is considered to be one of the most influential and innovative thinkers of the 19th century.
