Program Details

The online early childhood education degree is designed for those who do not hold a license in Early Childhood Education, but who are seeking ways to better meet the needs of students. Learn to work effectively in Early Childhood settings. The curriculum, which features hands-on learning activities, includes such courses as:

  • Advanced Early Childhood Education Curriculum
  • Advanced Childhood Development, Growth, Learning
  • Teaching of Reading/Writing
  • Teaching/Learning Practicum
  • Language, Families & Culture

This is a flexible degree. Not only can you choose between the K-12 or college levels, but you can also choose an additional area of concentration. This includes reading, gifted and talented, Instructional technology and design, TESOL, or a specific content area.
