West Coast University offers an MSN in Nursing Informatics for nurses interested in working with data and technology.  This online nursing informatics degree introduces students to the roles and responsibilities of the nurse informaticist.  You will learn to use information systems, electronic health records, and about implementing systems and liability issues.  The curriculum follows the Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform (TIGER) model, which is focused on education reform and interprofessional community development.  Graduates are familiar with the ethical, legal, and social issues arising from the use of computerized technology and information systems in healthcare.
