Program Details

Help crime victims through law enforcement and community organizations with the skills you gain in the Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice focusing on Special Victims and Investigations. This program provides a broad overview of the criminal justice system and laws, while allowing a special focus on violent crimes and their victims.

The primary emphasis of this concentration is on domestic and sexual violence crimes. Students will study topics including child abuse, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking, domestic violence, and juvenile delinquency. Coursework is designed to provide future law enforcement officers and social service professionals with unique insights into violent behaviors, violence within families, and professional responses to violence.
