Program Details

As part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Wartburg Theological Seminary offers an online Master of Divinity.  This program centers around preparation for ordained ministry. The degree takes a minimum of four years to earn and integrates a clinical experience and a year-long internship.  Distance students are expected to attend week-long sessions on campus at the beginning of each semester and complete a January-term course or travel experience each year. Concentrations available in Wartburg’s MDiv program include:
